An "Interesting" Week

It’s Friday and, so far, this has been an interesting week. Not much in the way of sales but it has been interesting. I had book club last night in the store and we had a rousing discussion on the book The Midnight Library. We’ve been meeting for about a year and we’ve all been getting to know each other which means the conversations get more interesting. We might start adding wine to this and who know what will happen then. Top that off will getting some of the ‘tea’ from the strip mall in regards to what others are paying for rent and that makes for an interesting day. It just so happens that we will need to redo our lease soon, so this information is important.

As for today, we had a mail order but not another soul has graced me with their presence and it is 2:40pm. I did get my hair cut though. My daughter is visiting and we decided a few months ago that neither one of us is willing to pay outrageous sums for a haircut. Neither one us are a hair stylist, but we muddle through, communicate, and are patient with each other. Also, if we mess us, it only takes a week or two for it to grow out. So far it’s been just fine and no major mistakes have occurred.

The rest of the day will be spent actually taking the opportunity to brain storm with another person who is familiar with the store and how we operate. It will be nice to have this physical person here to help out in this way. The information card will get finished so it can get to the printers and then distributed out to the community. It’s all good and everything will work out. I just don’t know how yet.

That’s all I’ve got for today. It’s brief, but some days are just like that. Neither good or bad, just here.
