Do You Know What's in Your Supplements?

Well, that was an interesting weekend. We are working on remodeling our bathroom and we needed to go get some supplies. Now realize that we are from Wisconsin and, here in Georgia, our favorite DIY home improvement store is not here. Yes, we have the two main ones but they are just okay and their prices tend to be higher. Now back during the eclipse, we stopped at Menards in Wisconsin, between the eclipse and a funeral it worked out that we were there, we picked up our shower base and a few other things. This time it was for the walls and the vanity. The sad thing is, it was cheaper to drive up to West Virginia, rent a trailer, and bring it home than buying locally from one of the other big box home improvement stores. Plus, my daughter got her favorite Sprecher’s soda and I picked up some products from JR Watkins. It was a fun time but exhausting to drive 1120 miles in two days.
I am now back at the store working on all the things I have been working on and I have had a few customers today. Things do seem to be picking up.
The phone just rang and it was both weird and random. I just got finished doing a video on nattokinase, go check it out on my Facebook page or look me up on Tik Tok (SusanCN), and he was looking for something to help break down plaques in the arteries. Natto is just the thing for that. Just the irony. Anyway….
I also have realized that last week was Prime Day which gives me the perfect opportunity to share something that I know about said etailer in regards to supplements. Pretty much, I would not ever buy anything from them that I would put in my body. It is well documented that there is a lot of fraud when it comes to supplements on their platform. NOW Foods has ordered many products from various vendors and sent them out for 3rd party testing, at their expense. The reports are showing that what is on the label is not in the bottle. Also, you may think you are buying a NOW or Host Defense, just to name a couple, product and someone made a fraudulent label and it’s not at all what you bought. It is scary and truly buyer beware on supplements. I would prefer you go in to a store to purchase your supplements but I understand if you need to buy online. Just go through a more reputable etailer like iHerb, Vitacost, or myself. After you’re done reading this you can go see if I have something you might be looking for. If not, shoot me a message and I’ll see what I can do to get it for you.
That’s a wrap. It’s time to get on with my day, you are now caught up with my most recent adventures, I’ve gotten on my soapbox, and now I am ready to go home and make more Dickie outfits.
Until next time,
Have a Healthy Day
